How You Can Support The AAPI Community

In support of our Asian American and Pacific Islander community, we have gathered a list of resources where you can learn more about the recent increase in violence and what you can do to take a stand against hate crimes.

House of Lashes recently donated and matched 100% of the revenue made from March 8th through March 9th to AAPI Women Lead. This organization not only aims to amplify the voices of Asian and Pacific Islander communities through several different platforms, but they have also taken action to put women into more leadership roles.

The Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence is a national resource center focused on domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence in Asian/Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.

The Stop AAPI Hate center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. In order to effectively address anti-Asian racism we must work together to end all forms of racism leveled at Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color.

Hate Is a Virus started as a movement in April 2020 in response to the rise in hate crimes against AAPI due to the pandemic. This year, Hate Is A Virus continues to bring attention to Asian voices, and educate and activate AAPI to stand for justice and equality in solidarity with other communities.

From our CEO and Founder Jenn Chiba, “We believe hate has no place in our society, and we hope you will join us in supporting organizations that are actively fighting for a more equal society.”
